apogeeLAB has created a clock generator with a precision power supply with an active quartz oscillator of maximum precision on board. Extremely ergonomic, with reduced dimensions, only 63x40mm.TXCO oscillators are powered by a very precise on-board power supply, which gives the rigid voltage a very low noise. Everything is powered with a positive DC voltage of 12V. It can be powered directly from your appliance’s power supply, obtaining 12Vdc. Or we have designed and built a dedicated low noise power supply that you can find at the following link.
This precision clock generator can be integrated into a CD Player, DAC, USB DAC etc. and has the ability to significantly reduce annoying jitter. The latter is nothing more than the variation of one or more characteristics of a signal such as amplitude, frequency or phase. This condition is dictated by many variables, one of the most important being the precision of the oscillator, expressed in PPM. Normally the common standard quartzes found inside the above mentioned devices have an accuracy that varies between 50 and 100PPM, with an accuracy that varies between 3 and 8 PPM.The apogeeLAB oscillators have an accuracy of 5PPM with a maximum accuracy of 0.1PPM, the best on the market.

- POWER SUPPLY BOARD
apogeeLAB has created a dedicated power supply for the LC-CLOCK V1.2 GENERATOR, with reduced dimensions and extremely ergonomic, only 90x55mm. It mounts an excellent low noise transformer completely resinated. The power supply is equipped with a double input filter 115 / 230Vac, to eliminate the noise of the home network. The card is equipped with a double input to the home network, 115 / 230Vac, which can be modified by a small soldering on pads. It is supplied with four spacer turrets and four M3 screws. The LC-CLOCK power supply is supplied with a standard positive voltage regulator. The standard regulator can be replaced on this board with a discrete component voltage regulator. You can find the latter at www.apogeeLAB.it, in order to further improve its performance by significantly reducing the output noise.
