An excellent experiment with an excellent yield, were these types of cables, where the conductor is the LITZ wire. The latter is a type of cable used in electronics to carry alternating current The wire is designed to reduce losses caused by the skin effect and proximity effect in conductors used at frequencies up to about 1 MHz. It consists of many strands of thin wires, individually insulated and twisted or twisted together, following one of several carefully prescribed patterns often involving several levels (groups of twisted wires are in turn twisted together, etc.). The result of these winding patterns is to equalize the proportion of the overall length along which each strand is outside the conductor, an effect not achieved with a simple twisted stranded wire.
The cables are supplied with a length of 1.5 metres (DX + RX signal). It is not possible to have cable lengths longer than those described. The cable is built with a BALANCED connection, that is, the signal is routed by the same conductor (in this case 2 conductors, signal + and GND). The whole is wrapped in a graphite shield, which in turn is connected only on one side of the RCA connectors. The source side will be highlighted by a coloured circle, which will show the right connection. Then connect the latter to the system, making reference that, the aforementioned reference must be connected where the source of the audio signal “exists”.
